Welcome to my website. My name is Mrs. Huff.
I am the Title I teacher at Elwood School. This is my fifth year teaching. In the past, I taught first grade. Those first graders still have a special spot in my heart, but I have really enjoyed being able to teach kids from Kindergarten through Fifth grade.
This is the second year that the Title I program has been offered at Elwood School. I have loved developing the program and working with the kids. It certainly has been an adventure getting to know all of the kids and their needs. In many ways, I feel like I have learned as much as the kids have. Hopefully, I can continue to learn and grow this program into a powerful tool to develop great readers in Elwood. I have tried to include helpful tools and websites that you can use to increase your child's literacy. Please bear with me as this site is a work in progress.
